I thought it might be a good idea to start this thread as I'm sure I'm not the only one here who makes music.

I thought maybe we could start a thread so that music makers could share their creations with the rest of NEET and get feedback. People could even put up mixes of doujin music. I dunno. I think that this thread would be a great idea IF the NEET staff give it a chance. If it it isn't given a chance and I'm banned, then that's a shame.

Under the assumption that "mute" refers to the English word. Disregard if this does not apply to your language or dialect.

As to your actual music, "Who We Really Are" really needs some mastering work. It is also a bit repetitive and formulaic, but could be ignored considering the style of the genre, although I cannot say I care for it. Other than that, with the mastering and perhaps a bassline or synth to even out the levels in some parts, it has potential to be a solid track. As of now though, it sets a new standard of mediocrity in the doujin community in times of recent.

The title ムtE is simply a combination of the Japanese character "ム" (mu) and the English characters "t" and "E", forming the word mute. I have confirmed that this is correct with friends of mine who have spoken Japanese since birth.

I have played this song to friends of mine who are quite knowledgable in the hardcore genre, and I have been told that structurally it is virtually flawless. However, I also agree with you in some regards and acknowledge your input as I would like this song to appeal to more people than just die-hard hardcore fanatics. There is certainly a bassline in there, however it has been largely drowned out by other elements. I tried to amend this, but for reasons too complicated to explain, I was unable to.
I highly appreciate your detailed feedback and I will take onboard what you have said when and if I choose to re-release this song.

On a final note, "яuи aшaч!" is simply an arrangement of Russian and English characters that forms the phrase "run away!", it is not intended to translate into any other language.

ミュtE at least gives it the "you" sound.

If you were trying to spell the word mute by using a spelling of a phonetic, carry on.
