That depends on what you listen to. The commercial stuff sucks ass, JAKAZiD is western and his tracks on HARD KOAR SYNERGY UNDERGROUND VOL 165 suck. Japanese producers also suck ass on commercial releases (especially fucking REDALiCE).

FINRG for instance, there you've got a great label. Try listening to Alek Száhala, Epyx & Cyrez or DJ Rx's stuff. Not only Japanese musicians are able to produce great tracks, thinking that would be retarded.

i think if u could explain what the releases are more it would help... is it dance techno or is it emo japanese girls singing basically, and tsukasa is usually the only artist id prefer to go emo with but hes mostly techno right? anyway the new vocal tracks from those tsukasa relases were amazing i played them out hardcore, even though they are way emo. but still, i daresay emo with tsukasa, he is the best artist in doujin/touhou or whatever for me so far.
