we don't do irc and if we did we certainly wouldn't have gay-ass bots in the channel

Sonata and mpd don't support advanced metadata by default. I got help to hack support into mpd, and then had to hardcore support into Sonata afterwards. The database became incompatible with vanilla mpd, so I grew tired and didn't bother anymore. Hopefully gstreamer will get gapless playback soon :(
